Welcome to Red Goat Builders. We are general contractors licensed for residential and commercial building. We have owned and operated Cowee Mountain Timber Framers since 1998. As timber framers, we often found ourselves working with customers to design, plan, and coordinate the entire building process of their custom homes before they had even found a home designer or a general contractor. We also found that many of our customers were having a difficult time finding general contractors to work with them on a custom home, and that several of the general contractors that our customers found really needed our advice on how to integrate the building of a custom home. We had already built three homes ourselves in the Franklin, NC area and so we understood what our clients and their contractors were dealing with. Having designed and planned many custom homes all over the country through CMTF, we definitely understood how to make a dream home a reality, and that the best place to start is with what the client wants. As general contractors we hope to continue in the tradition of custom hand crafted homes and provide our customers with service, quality and happiness.
