2006 Workshop Schedule:

February 26th- March 4th

June 4th-10th

November 5th-11th

The workshop is a five bent, four bay hammerbeam truss frame with two full length shed extensions. The workshop is where all the frames are cut. The 60 x 60 foot shop is heated by wood and kerosene stoves, and has enough space for workshop students and apprentices to work at the same time. It displays several student projects such as the nymph and satyr and the shop spirit woodcarvings. Flags of several students' states or nations hang on the wall. Spirited half court basketball games between apprentices are played using the hoop above the main entrance.

Located behind the framing shop, this wood working shop houses a table saw, band saw, planers, a jointer, a chop saw, a drill press, a radial arm saw and a router table. The framing crew uses this shop to make pegs, curve braces and finish splines. This shop is also used to make furniture pieces, cabinets, mallets and not-so-big frames (a.k.a. picture frames!).
